ESPN College GameDay will be at SEC Championship game, 4th Texas game of season

ESPN has announced College GameDay will be at the SEC Championship Game featuring a rematch between Texas Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs.

ESPN College GameDay is making a habit of covering the Texas Longhorns. For the fourth time this season, the popular Saturday morning preview show will be on site for a UT game. ESPN has announced next week’s location will be the SEC Championship Game.

College GameDay has set up at the Texas-Michigan game, where Michael Phelps was the guest picker. GameDay was on the UT campus for the Georgia game where two-time Masters champion and Texas Ex Scottie Scheffler was the guest picker. And GameDay was in College Station Saturday for the Lone Star Showdown. Dude Perfect were the guest pickers.

Now the program heads to Atlanta for the SEC title game. It is unknown whether ESPN will choose a guest picker with Texas ties, Georgia ties or someone neutral. This could also be one of the final appearances by famed GameDay analyst Lee Corso.

ABC will air the SEC Championship game at 3 PM CT. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game from the booth at DKR with Holly Rowe reporting from the sidelines.
