ESPN ‘College GameDay’ crew makes picks for Oregon Ducks vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

The ESPN College GameDay crew made their official picks for the showdown between No. 1 Oregon and No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes.

The game of the year took place in October, when the Oregon Ducks beat the Ohio State Buckeyes, 32-31, in Autzen Stadium. Now we’re getting the rematch everyone hoped for.

The Ducks and Buckeyes square off in the Rose Bowl on Wednesday afternoon. The winner moves on to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff. It will be Dillon Gabriel vs. Will Howard, Jeremiah Smith vs. Jabbar Muhammad, Evan Stewart vs. Denzel Burke, and a pair of the most talented rosters in the nation playing a win-or-go-home game.

ESPN’s “College GameDay” was in Pasadena for the “Grandaddy of Them All,” previewing the game in front of the San Gabriel Mountains on Wednesday morning. Here’s how they picked the game:

Desmond Howard: Oregon
Pat McAfee: Oregon
Nick Saban: Ohio State
Lee Corso: Ohio State

The game between Oregon and Ohio State kicks off at 2 p.m. PT on ESPN in Pasadena.
