Free-agent offensive lineman Larry Warford is a hot topic around the Cincinnati Bengals right now.

With offensive line seeming like a major need still, Warford is often the subject of Bengals speculation in the wake of his not-so-surprising release from the New Orleans Saints.

The latest to say the Bengals need to make the move? ESPN’s Bill Barnwell:

What’s left to do: Sign Larry Warford. The Bengals should be at the front of the queue for the former Saints guard — Warford would be a massive upgrade on 2019 fourth-rounder Michael Jordan. They naturally hope Jordan will develop into a useful starter, but with Burrow already facing major question marks on the right side with Su’a-Filo and Bobby Hart, I’d rather go after the three-time Pro Bowler as more of a sure thing. Warford also played his college football at Kentucky, 90 minutes south of Cincinnati.

We’ve already examined whether the Bengals should sign Warford. Regardless of where one lands on the topic, line coach Jim Turner has made it pretty clear he’s happy with who he has. And a Warford signing could always take up some of the money the Bengals want to pay up on a Joe Mixon extension.

As for Warford himself, he can take his sweet time finding a new home. He’s arguably the best lineman available and will have plenty of teams interested because names like his don’t often up and become available in May.

Let at least one expert tell it, the Bengals need to be all over Warford.
