ESPN analyst predicts four Tide players to go in the first round

ESPN NFL draft expert, Todd McShay, predicts four Crimson Tide members to get drafted in the first round

When it comes to the NFL draft, there aren’t many more knowledgeable than ESPN’s Todd McShay. McShay is a college football and NFL draft analyst who has been with ESPN since 2006 and he’s as good as they come.

McShay released his first mock draft ahead of the 2023 NFL draft, and he predicts that four Alabama Crimson Tide members will hear their names called on the first night of the NFL draft.

The first pick in the draft goes to the Houston Texans who will secure an elite quarterback in Bryce Young. The former Heisman Trophy winner has the maturity and leadership to be a franchise quarterback the first day he steps foot in the Texans’ doors.

McShay predicts Will Anderson to slide to the Chicago Bears at pick No. 3. Chicago would be a perfect scheme fit and historically they have had very good defensive teams.

In their second pick of the first round, the Seattle Seahawks will select Brian Branch at pick No. 18. Branch would be the final piece in a young, but very talented Seattle secondary.

Finally, Jahmyr Gibbs hears his name come off the board at pick No. 24 to the Denver Broncos. The Broncos and Russell Wilson offense will need to be vastly improved in 2023 and they help by getting a playmaker in a thin running-back room.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover Alabama players as they prepare for the next step in their careers.
