With the NBA playoffs in full swing, the talk on social media has certainly centered on the action on the court but the release of NBA 2K21 has the conversation off of the hardwood focused on the updated ratings in the popular video game.
The release of the video game each year typically sparks a debate as to which players are properly rated and which ones are not. Players will often join the conversation and weigh in on their individual ratings on social media and that was once again the case over the weekend.
Golden State Warriors forward Eric Paschall came in on NBA 2K21 with an overall rating of 79 but the second-round pick was not necessarily happy with his athleticism grade of 80 and took to Twitter to vent his frustration.
They ain’t make me athletic at all 😑😑 @NBA2K https://t.co/GZ156Z5dke

Paschall finished sixth in the NBA Rookie of the Year voting after a strong first year with the Warriors. He averaged 14 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 60 games played and ranked fifth in scoring and ninth in rebounding among all first-year players.
He emerged as one of the top rookies this season but certainly felt as though his overall rating and athleticism grade on NBA 2K21 could have been higher. Still, that doesn’t take away from the fact that he had a productive year with the Warriors.
