6. Kevontre “Tre” Bradford, Oklahoma (From LSU)
In all likelihood, Bradford jumps Major on the depth chart and becomes the primary handcuff for the Brooks/Gray tandem. The former LSU Tiger likely doesn’t make a massive productive dent until 2022, but as Rhamondre Stevenson showed in 2019, there won’t be any shortage of action for the Sooners’ No. 3 back.
After the loss of Rhamondre Stevenson to the NFL draft, T.J. Pledger via the transfer portal and the dismissal of Seth McGowan and Mikey Henderson, Oklahoma was left with three scholarship backs: Gray, Brooks and Marcus Major. Lincoln Riley likes to rotate players in his spread attack and Tre Bradford will not be a workhorse by any means. But he will have an opportunity to move the chains for OU’s offense. He possesses strong stop-start burst and will add solid depth.
