One of the nation’s best running backs is narrowing down his recruitment to four schools.
Four-star ball carrier Cedric Baxter will make a decision between Texas, Texas A&M, Florida and Miami. He set a commitment date for Aug. 10.
The elite running back is fresh off visits to Texas and Texas A&M. The Longhorns seemed to be trending for Baxter after receiving multiple crystal ball projections in their favor over the weekend.
Baxter ranks as the No. 3 running back in the nation and the No. 11 overall prospect in the state of Florida in the 2023 cycle according to 247Sports composite. He is the top target for Steve Sarkisian and running backs coach Tashard Choice.
