IO a day that saw the Alabama Crimson Tide lose four underclassmen to the NFL draft, [autotag]Eli Ricks[/autotag] is yet to make his decision.
As anticipated, Bryce Young, Will Anderson, Jahmyr Gibbs and Brian Branch will all forego their senior years for the NFL draft as they are all receiving projected round-one grades.
The fifth junior who may go is the former LSU Tigers transfer Eli Ricks, a fringe round one to two pick. Ricks came on late in the season but was outstanding for Pete Golding as the season closed.
By returning for his senior year Ricks could certainly play himself into an early first-round selection, however, it makes sense to enter the draft as well. It is always hard to pass up on life-changing money.
On Monday, Ricks announced via social media that he will be announcing his decision to enter the draft or not at 1:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday. Regardless of what he does, we will support him.
Looks like @AlabamaFTBL cornerback @eliasricks is making a decision on his future tomorrow at 1 p.m..
