Eli Manning trolled Peyton Manning for celebrating a Broncos fumble recovery like he was still with Denver

Peyton Manning hasn’t played for the Broncos in eight years. Don’t tell him that.

Monday night’s latest edition of the ManningCast got off to a spirited start, as the Denver Broncos snagged a fumble from the Buffalo Bills on the first play of the game.

Bills running back James Cook coughed up the ball for Broncos cornerback Ja’Quan McMillian to recover to get the game going with a big play.

As Denver came away with the big turnover, Peyton Manning had instant flashbacks to his days wearing the orange crush and cheered the Broncos on like he was still on the sideline.

Eli Manning quickly reminded his brother he hadn’t played for the Broncos in eight years and that “we” might not be the best pronoun to use in this instance.

Hey, Peyton Manning will always have a little bit of his heart in Denver after he won a Super Bowl with the franchise, but he’s an Indianapolis Colt first and foremost.

We tip the cap to Eli Manning for this fun quip at his older brother, one that hints to us all that Peyton Manning may never get out of the team mentality when he’s calling games for his old franchises.

At least, the Broncos seemed to appreciate the love.
