Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver evidently had offseason surgery on Tuesday. Surgery of what variety? That’s what we’re not sure of.
The surgery itself is only a certainty because Oliver himself sent out this post on social media about it:

Oliver, who was named to the PFWA All-Rookie team on Tuesday as well, recorded 43 tackles, five sacks and two passes defended as a rookie. However, he did so in 16 games played as Oliver didn’t miss any playing time this year. In addition, he never appeared on the injury report with an injury, either.
Oliver did have knee injuries in college, which is his most-recent injury report appearance. But that does not mean that’s what Oliver had surgery on. The answer will likely be revealed at a later time, but since Oliver didn’t miss any playing time, that’s a good indication that the surgery was not the most pressing type of repair.
