Can Lions coach Matt Patricia game plan against Brady?
This might be a very bold prediction and storyline to put out there, because this of course assumes Patricia makes it all the way to Week 16 of the 2020 season. He hasn’t exactly been winning fans over in Detroit with how his team has performed. But, for the sake of argument, let’s assume Patricia is still on the sidelines of Ford Field. After spending nearly his entire NFL coaching career with the Patriots, including the last several as defensive coordinator, Patricia probably knows Brady better than anyone outside Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels. But, knowing how to stop Brady and doing it are two separate things. The Lions drafted Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah with the third pick in the 2020 draft. The rookie will certainly be tested in this game.
