Eagles vs. Jets: Corey Davis returns, Jalen Hurts out for Week 13

The Eagles will be without quarterback Jalen Hurts in Week 13, but the Jets welcome back wide receiver Corey Davis against Philadelphia.

The Jets and the Eagles will be without two key pieces when they take the field on Sunday afternoon, as Sheldon Rankins is out for New York and Jalen Hurts is out for Philadelphia.

Rankins ended the week with a doubtful designation due to a knee injury and is now officially out. The veteran defensive tackle did not practice at all during the week after recording three tackles against the Texans in Week 12.

On the positive front, Corey Davis is back after missing the Jets’ win over Houston with a groin injury. Davis did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday and was limited on Friday, but will suit up for the first time since Zach Wilson’s return to the field. Rookie Elijah Moore operated as New York’s No. 1 wide receiver in Davis’ absence.

Rounding out the Jets’ inactives are La’Mical Perine, Trevon Wesco, Isaiah Williams, Tim Ward, Jarrod Wilson and Rachad Wildgoose.

Hurts is inactive with a sore ankle that hindered him in the Eagles’ loss to the Giants last weekend. Philadelphia will turn to backup Gardner Minshew with Hurts sidelined. Minshew started eight games for the Jaguars last season, completing 66.1% of his passes for 2,259 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions.
