Press Taylor named passing game coordinator by the Philadelphia Eagles

It appears that Doug Pederson will maintain his role as the Eagles primary play-caller while adding some responsibilities to the role his quarterback coach currently plays.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Press Taylor has been promoted to the role of Eagles passing game coordinator.

Taylor, 32, is the Brother of Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, and of one of the hot names in NFL circles in regards to innovative offensive schemes.

According to McManus, Taylor is highly respected among Eagles brass and has an “advocate” in starting quarterback Carson Wentz, who has worked with him since being drafted in 2016.

Duce Staley and Jeff Stoutland will both likely combine to continue in their roles in enhancing the Eagles running game.
