The Washington Football Team is back on the road in Week 15 with a trip to Philadelphia to face the Eagles. This is the first meeting of the season against Philly, and the two teams play again in two weeks.
Both teams enter Week 15 with identical 6-7 records. Washington had its four-game winning streak snapped in a Week 14 loss to the Cowboys, while the Eagles had their bye week. It’s Washington’s third consecutive opponent coming off extra rest.
With Washington facing so many injuries and the Eagles coming off the bye week, it’s no surprise Tipico Sportsbook has Philadelphia as early 4.5-point favorites on Sunday.
Washington currently holds the seventh and final playoff spot in the NFC. A win would keep the WFT in the driver’s seat for a playoff spot in January. However, a rested and healthy Philadelphia team presents a difficult challenge for Washington.
Don’t be surprised if the lines continue to move throughout the week as we know more about Washington’s injuries and COVID situation.
