Eagles fans hilariously corrected the team’s sanitized meme after win over Chiefs

Never let it be said that Philadelphia sports fans do things by half measures.

Philadelphia sports fans are one of a kind, and no one embodies that more than Philadelphia Eagles fans.

You wouldn’t know it by talking to Eagles fans, but the team has the best record in the NFL at 9-1 after winning a nail biting Super Bowl 57 rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday. Helped by some key drops by Chiefs wide receivers, the Eagles were able to take a 21-17 victory in a Super Bowl grudge match … aka the Kelce Bowl.

And yet, for the majority of the game, Eagles fans were not having a great time as the team’s offense sputtered hard with frustrating play calls. This isn’t the first time this season Eagles fans haven’t enjoyed a victory either as, in fact, a lot of the games Philadelphia has played have annoyed fans one way or another.

Frustrations have gotten so high that Eagles fans have turned to meme-ing their experience with a very relatable, very on point image.

On Tuesday, as the victory vibes were settling in, the Eagles reposted the meme on Twitter with one very sanitized, PG exception.

That’s not the meme at all! The whole point of meme-ing on the Philadelphia sports experience is to be tongue-in-cheek about your unending despair and inescapable misery. After all, Philadelphia only has two speeds: cocky or distraught.

As such, Eagles fans felt the need to hilariously correct the team’s sanitized meme after their win over the Chiefs.
