We’re about four hours from kickoff in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the Eagles just announced two roster moves ahead of the Week 1 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
Philadelphia elevated center Nick Gates and tight end E.J. Jenkins from the practice squad to the active roster for Friday night.

Gates is in his seventh NFL season and first with the Eagles. Philadelphia signed him after Training Camp started, but he was released during the roster cutdown. Gates brings starting experience, having played in 57 career regular-season games with 39 starts.
Jenkins flashed his receiving ability in the preseason and made a push for a spot on the 53-man roster but landed on the practice squad. Jenkins spent time last season on the Eagles practice squad and is in line to make his NFL debut in Brazil. Jenkins will be the third tight end behind Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra.
Due to injury, the Eagles are without cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (hand) and linebacker Devin White (ankle).
