The Eagles don’t have a punt returner or punter on the roster, so the team elevated wide receiver Britain Covey and punter Arryn Siposs from the practice squad for the season opener on Saturday.

Both players can be elevated from the practice squad three times before being put on the active roster.
As an undrafted rookie in 2022, Covey started the season on the practice squad, but saw action in all 17 regular-season games, finishing second among all rookies in punt return yards (308) and third in punt return average (9.3 yards per carry).
A third-year punter trying out weekly, Siposs has averaged 44.7 yards per punt and 39.2 net over his first two seasons.
