Each Texas player that has entered the transfer portal this week

Welcome to Sark’s spring cleaning!

For college football players that want to take advantage of the NCAA’s one-time transfer rule, they must enter the transfer portal by the May 1 deadline in order to participate in the fall.

This has caused an influx of talent in the transfer portal this week, including several players from Texas. Steve Sarkisian has noted numerous times that his goal was to revamp the roster this offseason, and he’s certainly lived up to that.

The Longhorns have been busy in the transfer portal in both directions. They’ve plucked several immediate contributors such as Quinn Ewers, Ryan Watts, Isaiah Neyor, and Jahleel Billingsley, while also losing players to the portal that were either further down the depth chart and/or did not fit the culture Sarkisian is implementing.

The mass exodus this offseason was expected for Texas once spring ball concluded. Several roster spots needed to be opened up for the new additions, along with the ability to acquire more talent. Six Longhorns have entered the portal since the Orange-White spring game.

Here’s an ongoing list of each Texas player that has entered the transfer portal just before the May 1 deadline.
