EA is limiting how many FIFA 23 World Cup tokens you can earn

You need FIFA World Cup tokens to swap for FUT cards, but EA Sports says you can only earn so many now

If you planned on earning FIFA 23 World Cup tokens fast thanks to the Golden Goal feature, you may be in for a disappointment. EA Sports has imposed a limit on how many World Cup tokens you can earn in a bid to keep players from breezing through requirements and hitting the token cap within a few minutes.

You can earn up to 50 tokens by completing World Cup challenges and exchange those for high-rated FUT cards while the World Cup celebration lasts. However, some players were using the Golden Goal feature to finish matches and get tokens in minutes, instead of it taking days as EA intended.

The newly-imposed limit means you can only complete 10 challenges in one hour, and that includes any challenges you fail. EA reportedly made the change after banning accounts for speeding through matches too quickly, so it seems pretty unlikely the limitation will change or be reversed any time soon.

Still, if you’re determined, 10 challenges per hour is still a fair few shots at earning tokens for FUT cards. It just might take a bit longer than you first hoped.
