Dwight Howard continuing to lead young players in workouts after wins

Philadelphia 76ers veteran Dwight Howard is leading the younger guys out in another shooting workout.

It is important to have good veterans in the NBA. Their presence out on the floor and in the locker room with all of their wisdom and experience can really become game-changers in the long run for a team.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, that guy continues to be Dwight Howard. He has taken the younger players on the Sixers back out to the floor after games, even wins, to lead them in a shooting workout and keep their spirits up.

After Saturday’s 127-112 win over the Charlotte Hornets, Howard was back at it as he brought rookies Dakota Mathias and Isaiah Joe out along with Terrance Ferguson in a workout.

Howard continues to prove himself as one of the better veterans in the league and on this team as he clearly has the attention of his younger teammates. He is a guy who is going to head to the Hall of Fame and he is coming off a championship season with the Los Angeles Lakers. It is now time for him to pass that wisdom on to the younger guys.
