Dwayne Johnson gifts football players at his high schools special gear

Dwayne Johnson delivers big time for athletes at the high schools he attended in Pennsylvania and Hawaii

Dwayne Johnson is coming up big for two of his former high schools.

The Rock posted a video on his YouTube channel where he surprises Freedom High School players in Pennsylvania with new gear as part of Project Rock via Under Armour.

Johnson also made the gift to those student-athletes at another high school he attended McKinley HS in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Johnson gifted each player with Project Rock performance gear along with customized programming for athletes and coaches before Freedom High’s homecoming game against Central Catholic.

“I walked those halls of Freedom High … we worked our asses off in the weight room, off-season [and] during the season, we worked our asses off in the classroom and we always talked about back then, like, ‘How do we want to be remembered?’ ” Johnson said. “… The most important thing is, I want you guys to think about that: How do you want to be remembered?”

Johnson’s former high school was inspired, romping 42-7.

“You played hard, you played like the hardest workers in the room,” he said. “You played for blood, sweat, and respect. You played like champions, you played like patriots.”
