News broke on Tuesday morning that Washington’s second-year wide receiver Kelvin Harmon had undergone surgery on a torn ACL that took place earlier this offseason, and he was expected to miss the entire 2020 season.
While this is a significant hit to the offense in Washington, it may not have been the biggest blow that they could have taken on the offensive side of the ball. Harmon was expected to take a leap in his second season and step into a solid production role, but he is still the second-ranked WR at best. It could, however, lead to a potentially intriguing free agency move. Look no further than the wordless conversation that both Dwayne Haskins and FA wide receiver Josh Gordon had on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon.

We’ve posited before whether or not Flash would be a good fit in Washington, as he presents a dynamic receiving threat when healthy, and when staying out of the off-field activities that have gotten him in trouble as of late. Those are two big ifs, but it’s worth questioning whether or not Washington would consider adding him to their offensive arsenal.
