Duke lands commitment from versatile three-star athlete Kolbe Harmon

Duke lands commitment from 2025 three-star Kolbe Harmon.

Manny Diaz and the Duke football staff just landed yet another commitment. The Blue Devils have had an electric summer on the recruiting trail, seemingly going no more than three days at a time since the end of May without another commitment hopping on board.

With the days winding down in June, the Blue Devils continued their hot month by adding yet another.

Three-star athlete Klobe Harmon announced his commitment to the Duke Blue Devils on Thursday afternoon. He chose them over offers from Michigan, Tennessee, Miami, Georgia Tech, and others.

In landing Harmon, Manny Diaz lands a consensus three-star athlete out of Tennessee. He plays his high school ball at Brentwood Academy, a notable school known for producing many quality athletes across multiple sports.

In high school, Harmon played safety, wide receiver, and running back. His home will likely be on the defensive side of the ball as a defensive back who can move all over. His sub-11.00 100-meter times in track will serve him well on the back end of Duke’s defense.

At just 5-foot-10, Harmon will have to play bigger for his size, but his athleticism is so evident making that work shouldn’t be much of an issue for him.

Harmon took his official visit to Duke last weekend; the rest was history. With Harmon on board, Duke remains in the top 25 nationally for recruiting rankings as a team. They stand at 22 currently, with 22 commits already locked in.
