Ducks get tough path in Pac-12 tournament as No. 4 seed

The Ducks get a first-round bye in the Pac-12 tourney, but they will have to beat the best teams in the conference in order to get the title.

It’s been well established over the past few weeks that if the Oregon Ducks are going to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament later this month and participate in March Madness for the first time since 2021, they will need to win the Pac-12 Tournament in order to get there.

Fortunately, the Ducks got a little bit of help in their path to a potential title, but they will have to take down some incredibly good teams in order to do so.

With a win over the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday in the regular season finale, Oregon secured the No. 4 seed in the Pac-12 tournament, guaranteeing them a first-round bye and a relatively manageable path forward. Of course, the top teams in the Pac-12 — UCLA and Arizona — will be tough to beat, but we’ve seen the Ducks succeed in upsetting the Wildcats earlier this year, and they came close against the Bruins as well.

So who might Oregon end up playing down in Las Vegas? We’re going to lay out the potential matchups should all of the higher seeds win in the tournament.
