Ducks again make big jump in recruiting rankings after flurry of commitments

With the flip of 4-star Tionne Gray, the Ducks once again made a big jump up the national rankings in the recruiting world.

It was only a few days ago that we dove into the updated 247Sports recruiting rankings to take a look at where the Oregon Ducks stood.

The Ducks had just gotten a commitment from 4-star safety Aaron Flowers, the No. 109 player in the 2024 class and one of the higher-rated players to join the team this cycle.

Since then, though, there has been some additional movement.

On Wednesday, the Ducks added 3-star OT Trent Ferguson, a 6-foot-7 OL who is unproven with a lot of upside. That led us to Thursday, where Oregon was able to flip 4-star DL Tionne Gray from his commitment to the Missouri Tigers and land him with the Ducks instead.

Of course, these two additions caused the Ducks to move up again in the rankings. Here’s a look at where they now sit nationally.
