Draymond Green reacts to Trae Young’s performance during Hawks’ game 1 win vs. 76ers

During the Hawks’ game one playoff win against the Sixers, Draymond Green chimed in on Twitter in response to Trae Young’s performance.

After leading the Atlanta Hawks to a 4-1 series victory over the New York Knicks in the opening round of the Eastern Conference postseason run, Trae Young didn’t show any signs of slowing down in the second round against the top-seeded Philadelphia 76ers.

The All-Star point guard tallied a team-high 35 points on 11-of-23 shooting from the floor with 10 assists and two steals in 39 minutes. Young dropped in four triples on 11 attempts from beyond the arc.

During Young’s performance, a member of the Golden State Warriors chimed in on social media. Draymond Green responded to the Oklahoma product’s effort with a post on Twitter.

Young has now scored 27 or more points in five of six games in the postseason, including a pair of games with 35 or more points.

Following Young in game one, John Collins and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 21 points each on the way to Atlanta’s victory over Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons in Philadelphia, 128-124.

After a victory in game one, Young and the Hawks will have the opportunity to take a two-game lead in the series on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. PT.
