Draymond Green praises Darius Bazley during Thunder/Rockets Game 4

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green tweeted that Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Darius Bazley “is going to be nice” during Game 4.

Draymond Green may not be a participant in the playoffs for the first time in his career, but the Golden State Warriors star has continued paying attention to the league inside the NBA bubble.

During Game 4 of the Oklahoma City Thunder series against the Houston Rockets, Green saw something he liked in a young Thunder player.

“Darius Bazley is going to be nice!” Green tweeted.

Bazley is one of the four Thunder players who came in off the bench during the first half of the game. His length and athleticism allows him to guard the wings and centers of the Rockets.

He’s not a center, but has played the 5 — and against Houston, who doesn’t play traditional bigs, he can match up with most players.

Bazley had four points on 2-for-3 shooting in nine minutes in the half.

He may just be 20 years old, but the rookie is already grabbing the attention of an NBA veteran and champion.

Maybe Bazley, who is 6-foot-8 with a 7-foot wingspan, reminds Green a little bit of himself, a 6-foot-6 with a 7-1 wingspan who plays power forward and center.

Green has been vocal about NBA play over the last month, including appearing on NBA on TNT as an analyst and joining Charles Barkley on TNT’s “The Arena.”
