Doug Pederson announces report dates for Jaguars’ 2023 training camp

Training camp is less than six weeks away for the Jaguars.

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ campaign to defend their AFC South title will begin when training camp opens near the end of July.

Head coach Doug Pederson announced Monday that rookies, first-year players, and veterans recovering from injuries are due to report to camp on Friday, July 21. The rest of the Jaguars’ roster will get started on Tuesday, July 25.

Last year, all Jaguars players reported to camp on the same day: July 24.

This time around, the team will hold training camp for the first time in the brand new Miller Electric Performance Center. The brand new 125,000-square-foot site includes a brand new weight room and locker room, as well as a 2,100-seat grandstand for fans to attend open practices.

Among the top storylines to watch in camp this year for the Jaguars will be the battles for starting roles along the offensive line. The team has solidified the center and right guard spots with Luke Fortner and Brandon Scherff, respectively, and 2023 first-round pick Anton Harrison is expected to take over at right tackle. The future at left tackle and left guard are a little less clear.
