Dorian Singer has a case to make as a top-10 player in the Pac-12

Dorian Singer, viewed in isolation, might not seem like a top-10 player. Singer catching passes from Caleb Williams? Different story.

If you were to rank the 10 best players in the Pac-12 Conference for its final season in 2023, would USC receiver Dorian Singer make your list?

He made the list for one Pac-12 football analyst.

Jack Follman of SuperWest Sports has Singer, the Arizona transfer and Caleb Williams’ favorite target, as the 10th-best player in the Pac-12. Washington receiver Jalen McMillan is one spot ahead of him. Here’s what Follman wrote on Singer:

“Singer gained more than 1,100 yards last year with six touchdowns. He should blow up even more in Lincoln Riley’s offense with Caleb Williams throwing him the ball.”

That last detail might be the component which elevates Singer to the next level. On his own, he might not be a top-10 player, but with Caleb Williams as his quarterback, Singer is truly in position to put up next-level numbers for the Trojans this season. If he plays the way he played last year at Arizona — but in a Lincoln Riley offense with top-shelf talent surrounding him — he will definitely replace the production Jordan Addison provided for this receiver room.
