Due to injury, New England Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower will miss the Pro Bowl.
The 29-year-old will be replaced by Buffalo Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds. This was Hightower’s second Pro Bowl selection, with his first nod in 2016. He only missed one game this season and played a pivotal role in the Patriots’ dominant defensive unit.
Patriots LB Dont’a Hightower, who was voted to his second Pro Bowl this season, will not play in the game (medical). The Bills announced today that LB Tremaine Edmunds is taking Hightower’s spot.

New England had three total selections to the Pro Bowl this season, with Stephon Gilmore and Matthew Slater earning the prestigious nod as well. As of right now, both players are expected to participate.
The Pro Bowl will be held on Jan. 26, at 3 p.m. ET in Orlando, FL.
