Ahead of the Miami Dolphins’ trip to Orchard Park on Sunday, head coach Brian Flores gave the Buffalo Bills some good news.
One of the Dolphins’ top wideouts, Will Fuller, will not be returning from injury.
Fuller has spent the last three weeks on injured reserve and Flores said he’s “getting closer” but Week 8 is not expected to be the game he comes back. Fuller has a finger injury.
The wideout was eligible to return from IR this week.
The 27-year-old also did not play in Week 2 against the Bills in a 35-0 win for Buffalo (4-2) due to personal reasons.
Fuller has only played in two games this season for Miami (1-6), Weeks 2 and 3.
The Dolphins won their season opener against the New England Patriots and have since lost six-straight games.
