We are just at the start of NFL free agency, meaning the draft is just over a month away, and even though players are getting added and subtracted from rosters right now teams are already preparing to add rookies.
On Tuesday, the NFL announced the league’s compensatory picks for the 2022 draft, and unfortunately for the Miami Dolphins, they didn’t receive any from the formula.
While this was expected, there was a slim chance that the Dolphins could’ve received a compensatory pick if the league determined that punter Matt Haack, who signed with the Buffalo Bills last offseason, qualified.
For now, Miami has eight picks, but they could always move around through trades before that time comes.
