While the Miami Dolphins’ loss to the Buffalo Bills was tough on Sunday, even tougher was the loss of left tackle Terron Armstead, who went back to the locker room in the second quarter and never returned.
On Monday, head coach Mike McDaniel updated the media on Armstead’s status going forward.
“Looks to be, I would say, weeks not days,” McDaniel said. “We have to kind of see how everything settles down, and then we’ll be able to make a better prognosis for that timeline here in a couple day, by the end of the week or so. I can say that he won’t be playing in the next game, but he will be playing again this season.”
McDaniel said that the Dolphins will continue to stick with Kendall Lamm at left tackle, as he’s now played for Armstead in three separate games this year.
Armstead had been on the injury report with three different injuries prior to the game, and this just makes his recovery and preparation that much more difficult.
