Dolphins final Week 5 injury report: 7 questionable, 2 out vs. Jets

Some key contributors could be game-time decisions.

The Miami Dolphins completed their final practice of the week on Friday, at the Baptist Health Training Complex, in preparation for their Sunday afternoon battle with the New York Jets.

Miami had already announced that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion/back/ankle) would not be playing this week, and now, it’s known that tight end Cethan Carter (concussion) will also not be available. This will be the fourth game that Carter has missed.

Seven players were listed as questionable, including cornerback Xavien Howard (groins), offensive lineman Robert Jones (back) and cornerback Keion Crossen (glute/shoulder) as all three were upgraded to limited participants on Friday. They join running offensive tackle Terron Armstead (toe), running back Salvon Ahmed (back) and wide receivers Tyreek Hill (quad) and Jaylen Waddle (groin).

Tight end Tanner Conner (knee), defensive lineman Raekwon Davis (knee), linebacker Trey Flowers (knee), safety Brandon Jones (chest), offensive tackle Greg Little (finger), tight end Hunter Long (ankle), defensive lineman Zach Sieler (hand) and wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ribs/toe) were all full participants. Jones and Sieler were upgraded from limited on Thursday.

There will be a number of game-time decisions that will certainly impact the outcome of this game.
