The Miami Dolphins had heaters ready to go for last week’s game vs. the Chargers. It was a contest that took place indoors, in Los Angeles where the temperature at kickoff was roughly 55 degrees.
This, combined with a recent two-game losing streak and a sudden dropoff from MVP candidate Tua Tagovailoa, should create cause for alarm as a showdown with the Buffalo Bills looms. Western New York is bracing for one to three inches of snow Sunday, along with breezy winds and an expected temperature of 25 degrees.
It’s not the coldest you’ll see Orchard Park, New York, but it’s still significantly cooler than Miami or Los Angeles. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel knows there are concerns about how his team will hold up in a winter wonderland. And, if his t-shirt is to be believed, he’s about to revel in it.

The coldest temperature Miami has dealt with so far under McDaniel was a 38-degree affair in San Francisco in Week 13. The Dolphins lost that game, to 49ers third-stringer Brock Purdy, 33-16. McDaniel’s shirt says he’s staring up at the weather gods, looking at their meager dusting of snow, and asking if that’s all they’ve got.
Miami’s Week 15 game in Buffalo will be the coldest of its 2022 season to date. McDaniel? He’d like it to be a little colder, in fact.
