When the offseason began, it was relatively unclear what direction the Chicago Bulls would take. After two years with their current core and just one playoff win to show for it, some questioned whether or not they should hit the reset button and shake things up. But they didn’t.
Instead, the Bulls brought back their current core, adding some rotation pieces on the fringes in hopes of improving. But in reality, the rest of the NBA got better this summer, and the Bulls stayed in place. The team’s ceiling didn’t improve much, and because of that, their title hopes are slim.
And worst of all, they don’t have much room to make changes, especially with Lonzo Ball‘s dead money on the books. The Chicago Bulls Central YouTube channel recently discussed whether or not the Bulls have the worst trade assets in the league.
