The NBA is buzzing with Jrue Holiday trade rumors and speculation, and the Chicago Bulls fit squarely into that picture. Chicago is reportedly one of a handful of teams interested in acquiring the veteran guard. Coming up with the most enticing trade package, however, might be a challenge.
At present, Holiday is with the Portland Trail Blazers following a blockbuster move that sent All-NBA guard Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks. Portland is expected to enter a full youth movement and will look to re-route Holiday. Several of the best teams in the East are in the mix, but clubs like Chicago could view Holiday as a way to hop into the top tier in the conference.
The Bulls could perhaps create a package that would outbid the rest of Holiday’s suitors. But would it be a net positive, given the asking price? Our friends over at And One Hoops covered this topic. You can check out the entire conversation on their Bull Central YouTube channel.
Do you think the Bulls should pull off a deal for Holiday?
