Do the Boston Celtics have enough bench depth for the NBA’s 2024 Playoffs?

Is a seven-man rotation enough for the Celtics if the answer is no?

Do the Boston Celtics have enough bench depth for the NBA’s 2024 Playoffs? When we have said in the recent past that the Celtics’ bench mob is better than they have been in a very long time, and no longer a liability in need of surviving, how many players are we actually talking about?

Boston needs players who not only can contribute to winning in the regular season consistently, but also in the postseason. We know for certain that vets like Al Horford can cut it, and we have seen enough to know that Sam Hauser probably can as well. But what about Payton Pritchard, Luke Kornet, and Xavier Tillman, Sr.?

Is a seven-man rotation enough for the Celtics if the answer is no? And with the trade deadline long past, is there anything they could do about it if they are worried?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “The Big Three NBA” podcast recently weighed in on these questions on a recent episode. Check it out above to hear their thoughts!
