DK Metcalf expected to play vs. Panthers, but not Jamal Adams

We have since gotten updates on two of them.

The Seahawks had a boat-load of players on their injury report this week, with as many as 11 sitting out at one point. Heading into their Week 3 game against the Panthers, five players are listed as questionable.

We have since gotten updates on two of them.

According to Adam Schultz, wide receiver DK Metcalf (ribs) is expected to play in today’s game.

Metcalf got sandwiched between two Detroit defenders while making a catch at the one-yard line in last week’s game. He left the field and was listed as questionable but returned soon after.

Also, according to a report Adam Schefter at ESPN, strong safety Jamal Adams is not expected to play.

Adams has not suited up since Week 1 of the 2022 season against the Broncos, when he tore his quad in the first quarter. It’s been a long battle to get back back for Adams – who will likely make his debut next Monday night against the Giants.
