DJ Khaled expresses desire to create NASCAR Cup Series organization

DJ Khaled expresses his desire to create a NASCAR Cup Series organization. Find out what Khaled had to say and what he would name the team!

[autotag]DJ Khaled[/autotag] was supposed to wave the green flag for the 2024 Daytona 500; however, the weather ruined those plans. Khaled couldn’t stick around until Monday evening after NASCAR postponed the Daytona 500 due to the weather forecast. It was a disappointing development for NASCAR, who acquired a star-studded lineup of pre-race celebrities.

However, Khaled did stay for his press conference with reporters on Sunday. It was great to hear about the 48-year-old’s fascination with NASCAR and he even teased something very interesting. Khaled said he could envision a time when he returns to the Daytona 500 but as an owner like Pitbull and Michael Jordan.

“I would love to be a [NASCAR] team owner,” Khaled said. “Look at Michael Jordan, the beautiful things he’s doing. All the other great team owners. One day, God willing, I’ll have a ‘We the Best’ car out there, bringing home a trophy.”

Khaled, the NASCAR team owner, would be an outstanding addition alongside Jordan, Pitbull, Justin Marks, and more. We the Best Racing? We the Best Motorsports? It’s currently undetermined; however, NASCAR would benefit from adding Khaled to his ownership group. If he cares as much as he says, it would continue to add popularity to the sport.
