The lineup for the UFC’s return to Oklahoma in May continues to build with the addition of a light heavyweight bout.
[autotag]Devin Clark[/autotag] (11-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC) is set to meet [autotag]Alonzo Menifield[/autotag] (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) at UFC Oklahoma City. The UFC announced the new booking Tuesday through The Oklahoman.
UFC Oklahoma City takes place May 2 at Chesapeake Energy Arena. The event does not have an official numerical designation, though it is expected to air on ESPN or stream on ESPN+.
Clark will have a fairly quick turnaround. A little more than two weeks ago, he got back in the win column with a unanimous decision win over Dequan Townsend at UFC on ESPN+ 26 in New Mexico. He has alternated wins and losses his past seven fights.
Menifield stayed unbeaten in June 2019 when he stopped Paul Craig in the first round at UFC on ESPN 3. He got his UFC shot after a second win on Dana White’s Contender Series in mid-2018, then made good on his official promotional debut with a first-round TKO over Vinicius Moreira at UFC on ESPN+ 1.
With the addition, the UFC Oklahoma City lineup now includes:
- Jack Hermansson vs. Chris Weidman
- Claudia Gadelha vs. Marina Rodriguez
- Sarah Alpar vs. Vanessa Melo
- Andrei Arlovski vs. Philipe Lins
- Ed Herman vs. Da Un Jung
- Bryce Mitchell vs. Charles Rosa
- Ryan Hall vs. Ricardo Lamas
- Devin Clark vs. Alonzo Menifield
