Look, it might not last long, but we’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

The Denver Broncos have lost three consecutive games and the team’s season appears to be spiraling out of control. Despite the team’s slump, the Broncos still aren’t the lowest-ranking team in the AFC West.

Going into a “Thursday Night Football” showdown with the Cleveland Browns in Week 7, Denver is currently ranked third place in the division, above the Kansas City Chiefs. Here’s a look at the current standings:

Team Record Div Conf
Los Angeles Chargers 4-2 2-0 3-1
Las Vegas Raiders 4-2 1-1 4-1
Denver Broncos 3-3 0-1 2-3
Kansas City Chiefs 3-3 0-1 1-3

These standings might not last long, but at least for two more days, the Broncos will remain ranked above the Chiefs, and that’s somewhat of a consolation, although not much.

KC will like get things figured out in the coming weeks, and Denver has by far looked like the worst team in the AFC West over their last three games. If they want to avoid finishing in last place in the division in back-to-back seasons, the Broncos will need to improve quickly.
