Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury II: 6 early questions to ponder

Many questions surround the rivalry of Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury. Here are six questions going into their Feb. 22 rematch.

Will the cut Fury suffered against Wallin play a role against Wilder?

Fury didn’t suffer a cut over his right eye against Wallin; that was a canyon. And it bothered him for much of the fight. Three and a half months later the cut has healed and Fury has been cleared to fight. And who knows? It might not be factor whatsoever on Feb. 22. As we know, though, bad cuts – even those that have healed – often reopen in subsequent fights. I doubt Fury will worry about the cut unless it opens up. If it does, it could change the dynamic of the fight. In other words, I worry that the cut will ruin the rematch. Let’s hope I’m just paranoid.
