The NFL announced pick numbers for the 2020 NFL draft on Wednesday and we now know exactly when Denver Broncos will be selecting in April. The Broncos will have 11 picks to use this year.

Technically, Denver has 12 selections but the team’s extra fourth-round pick (No. 137) will be traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for cornerback A.J. Bouye when the new league year begins on March 18.

Assuming that Bouye will pass his physical examination and the trade will go through, here’s a look at the Broncos’ 2020 NFL draft picks:

Round Pick Overall
1 15 15
2 14 46
3 13 77
3 19 83
3 31 95
4 12 118
5 33 178*
6 2 181
7 23 237
7 38 252*
7 40 254*

*Denver was awarded compensatory selections in the fifth (No. 178) and seventh (Nos. 252 and 254) rounds. The Broncos will have the second-to-last selection in the draft. The New York Giants own the final pick (No. 255), a selection that will be used on “Mr. Irrelevant.”

Denver’s extra third-round picks were acquired through trades with the Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 83) and San Francisco 49ers (No. 95). The team’s sixth-round pick (No. 181) was acquired through a trade with the Washington Redskins and the Broncos’ first seventh-round pick (No. 237) was acquired in a trade with the New England Patriots.

With so much draft capital, Denver general manager John Elway might make a few more trades on the weekend of the draft (April 23-25).
