Denny Hamlin would like to drive for 23XI Racing, unsure on full-time

Denny Hamlin admitted that he would like to drive for 23XI Racing, but remains unsure whether that would be a part-time or full-time effort.

[autotag]Denny Hamlin[/autotag] drives for Joe Gibbs Racing and co-owns 23XI Racing with NBA legend Michael Jordan in the NASCAR Cup Series. At 43 years old, Hamlin has three Daytona 500 victories and no championships, but driving for his own NASCAR organization could be one of the top things on his bucket list.

According to the Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern, Hamlin said he would like to drive for 23XI Racing one day but was unsure if it would be part-time or full-time. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver believes that 23XI Racing is slowly but surely starting to match his current position with the No. 11 team at his current driving organization.

It would be very odd to see Hamlin drive for another car that isn’t with Joe Gibbs Racing. However, the only team that would make sense is 23XI Racing. This is something that Hamlin has talked about in the past, but he is starting to acknowledge that it could be a real possibility. It will be interesting to see how it plays out, but Hamlin could be driving part-time or full-time for 23XI Racing at some point.
