Deion Sanders didn’t hide his emotions when addressing the Jackson State locker room for his last game as the team’s head coach.
With Jackson State taking on North Carolina Central in the Celebration Bowl on Saturday, Sanders finished out his time with the program before he heads West to coach the Colorado Buffaloes.
Sanders’ stint with Jackson State has led to to a resurgence of the school’s football team. His final game coaching was a historic moment for all involved.

Well, that was bound to be the pregame locker room hype video of the day. It’s not often you see a guy in tears before putting on sunglasses and dancing in the locker room with his players.
Even though Sanders will be headed elsewhere next season, it’s commendable what he’s done for the Jackson State football team. These intentionally silly pregame hype sessions are one thing, but his legacy with the program feels pretty cemented.
