CB Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech
Last season for the Hokies, Farley asserted himself as the star in the secondary. He knocked away 12 throws and managed four interceptions in just 10 games. He missed the final two contests with an undisclosed injury. In 2020, he elected to opt out of the season.
Arguably the most physical cornerback in this year’s class, Farley boasts a tremendous frame at 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds. He is an extremely smooth athlete with easy speed, physicality to disrupt and reroute wide receivers and insane ball skills to make a handful of plays in the air.
He primarily played on the outside in the Virginia Tech defense but occasionally drifted into the slot and even took snaps at safety last season, displaying the versatility that could be utilized, if need be.
The Miami game (2019) gives you a great idea of who #VirginiaTech CB Caleb Farley is as a prospect.
Two of his better traits are how competitive he is through the route stems of WRs and how he’s always able to get his head around and find the ball in flight to make a play. pic.twitter.com/Mu3Mk4Jmul
