De’Anthony Melton now listed as out for Sixers vs. Kings at home

The Philadelphia 76ers will be missing De’Anthony Melton in a home matchup against the Sacramento Kings.

The Philadelphia 76ers will be taking on the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday in the third game of a 7-game homestand and they will be short-handed once again as they try and figure everything out on the floor.

The Sixers will be missing Tyrese Maxey once again as he continues to work his way back from a foot fracture, but now they will be missing a key reserve as well in the form of De’Anthony Melton.

Melton was added to the injury report on Tuesday afternoon and was listed as questionable with back tightness. In his pregame media availability, coach Doc Rivers confirmed that Melton is out for this matchup with the Kings and Danuel House Jr. has been downgraded to doubtful after being probable.

The Sixers had been starting Melton in place of Maxey, but with Melton now out, Philadelphia will likely turn to Matisse Thybulle to start in his place.

Tipoff from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 7 p.m. EST.
