De’Anthony Melton lists what Sixers have to do before playoffs begin

De’Anthony Melton lists out what the Philadelphia 76ers have to address before the playoffs begin.

CAMDEN, N.J. — The Philadelphia 76ers have four games remaining before the playoffs begin on April 15, and they still have issues to address.

Despite their strong play, there seems to be some confusion about certain things. They are easily correctable, but the Sixers still have to figure them out, considering how important these playoffs are for Philadelphia.

After the loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, Tyrese Maxey mentioned the Sixers still have work to do in terms of getting on the same page and figuring out how they want to play. Before Tuesday’s matchup with the Boston Celtics, De’Anthony Melton agreed that everything is about the team at the moment.

“At this point, everything is as a team,” said Melton. “So as a team, we just want to make sure we’re running our stuff, we’re getting the right stuff going on, we got discipline, and we’re just getting ready for the playoffs.”

Tobias Harris also brought up a familiar issue: mental toughness. The body language did not look great in the loss to Milwaukee. That could be a factor of them being bored with the regular season and the playoffs being right around the corner. But it is a big issue that must be addressed before the playoffs begin.

“Just making sure we’re doing the right things,” Melton said when addressing the mental toughness issue. “Making sure we’re all together, our chemistry is there, and understanding how we want to win and what we want to give up and stuff like that. Understand that we all got each other’s back, too.”
