DeAndre Jordan tests positive for COVID-19, will not play at Disney

The Brooklyn Nets will be without one of their centers when the NBA resumes the 2019-20 season at Disney World.

The Brooklyn Nets will now be without five of their players when the NBA resumes the 2019-20 season at Disney World in Florida at the end of July — and they could be without a sixth.

Kevin Durant (right Achilles), Kyrie Irving (right shoulder), Nic Claxton (left shoulder) and Wilson Chandler (elected to opt-out) were the first four members of the Nets to be ruled out for the restart.

DeAndre Jordan is the latest Brooklyn player to announce he will not take part in the resumption of the season.

On Monday, the big man announced on Twitter he has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, Jordan “will not be in Orlando for the resumption of the season.”

Spencer Dinwiddie has also tested positive for COVID-19. Unlike Jordan, the nets point guard has not made a decision about whether or not he will participate in the league’s restart at Disney.
